The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. With aseptic clamp connections DN 15, it measures flow rate and temperature, suitable for fluids from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating is 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not affect the meter's performance; subsequent liquid measurements will be accurate. FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene.
