The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. This sensor features aseptic wedge valve ports (DN 15) and measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. This device is not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively impact the meter's performance; subsequent liquids measured after them will be accurately read.
