The Katadyn Vario Water Filter from the Backcountry series offers versatile filtering options. Whether dealing with clear, cloudy, or foul-smelling water, the Vario pump filter combines a ceramic impurity prefilter and a low-resistance fiberglass microbiological filter. The 'Longer Life' mode, activatable, is ideal for cloudy water. 'Faster Flow' mode uses the direct flow fiberglass filter. Pump performance increases up to 2 L/min. Regular replacement of activated carbon granules reduces chemicals and bad taste. The dual pump mechanism ensures continuous performance with minimal effort. Replaceable filter elements are available individually (ceramic disk, fiberglass filter with activated carbon, activated carbon granules). Delivery is without bottles. The Vario water filter fits bottles with a 55 mm neck diameter, such as Klean Kanteen Wide.
