The Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 G2 offers enterprise-grade security with hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption in XTS mode, certified by FIPS 197, including protection against BadUSB attacks and brute force. The LP50 G2 features a modern redesign, supporting multiple password options (Admin and User) with Complex or Passphrase modes. The Complex mode allows passwords from 6 to 16 characters using 3 of 4 character sets. The Passphrase mode lets you use a numeric code, phrase, list of words, or even song lyrics up to 64 characters long. The Admin can enable a User password or reset the User password to restore access. To aid in password entry, the 'eye' symbol can be activated to reveal the entered password, reducing typos and connection failures. Brute force attacks are locked out after 10 consecutive incorrect User password attempts, and data is erased and the key is encrypted after 10 consecutive incorrect Admin passwords. Additional features include a fingerprint-resistant coating and built-in virtual keyboard to protect against keyloggers and screen recorders. The compact metal body with integrated keychain makes it portable, and no app installation is required—all necessary software and security are built-in. It works on both Windows and macOS systems.
