The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. With a 1-inch aseptic clamp and temperature measurement, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation, and subsequent liquids will be measured accurately.
