The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 1-inch clamp connection, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation, and subsequent liquids passed through will be measured accurately. Complies with FDA standards, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene.
