The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With 2-inch aseptic clamp ports, it measures flow and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 16 bars (224 psi). Optimal results achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately. Complies with FDA standards, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene. Operating voltage: 12 V to 35 V DC. Uses büS communication protocol.
