The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 2-inch clamp, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 16 bars (224 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, and subsequent liquids are measured accurately. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the USA. The meter operates on a nominal voltage of 12 V to 35 V DC and uses the Service-büS communication protocol.
