The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 1 1/2 inch clamping diameter, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, with subsequent liquids measured accurately. Complies with FDA standards, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene. Operating voltage: 12 V to 35 V DC. Uses büS communication protocol.
