The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 2.5-inch clamping port, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 55°C (14°F to 131°F). Maximum pressure rating of 10 bars (140 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquid measurements will be accurate.
