The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 2.5-inch clamp and temperature measurement, it measures flow (volume). Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 10 bars (140 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively impact the device or its operation, and subsequent liquids are measured accurately. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the USA. The flowmeter operates on a 12V to 35V DC voltage and uses the Service-büS communication protocol.
