SIGMA 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM Art for Sony

The SIGMA 12-24mm F4.5-5.6 DG EX is the world's first zoom with a 122° field of view. The diagonal field of view ranges from 122° at 12mm to 84.1° at 24mm, enabling exceptional interior and landscape photography. Its high-level optical formula uses four special low dispersion (SLD) glass lenses to effectively correct chromatic aberrations common in wide-angle lenses, and three aspherical elements (two molded and one hybrid) for excellent distortion and other aberration correction. This optical design and cutting-edge technology keeps the lens' length to a remarkable 3.94 inches (100mm) with an eight-inch maximum diameter. The internal focus system maintains constant lens dimensions while reducing aberrations. HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) technology allows for continuous autofocus adjustment on compatible mounts. The minimum focus distance is 8.2 inches (28mm). It's also equipped with a built-in petal-shaped lens hood to protect against unwanted light.
