Planet VC-234 VDSL2 Ethernet Converter - 30a, 4 Ports RJ45

The Planet VC-234 is a high-performance VDSL2 Ethernet converter. It leverages Ethernet and VDSL2 technology to transmit high-speed signals over existing copper phone lines. Offering speeds up to 100/100Mbps over 300m and 20/4Mbps over 1.4km, it supports VDSL2 profiles 17a or 30a and has master/slave mode selection [CO/CPE] via DIP switch. Compliant with Ethernet standards IEEE802.3, 10Base-T, IEEE802.3u, 100Base-TX and IEEE802.3x, it features DMT encoding, flow control, and half-duplex return of information. With integrated voice/data filtering, 2 RJ-11 connectors per VDSL port (VDSL connection and traditional phone), and support for simultaneous voice and data communication, this device enables full duplex IEEE802.3x pause frame control. It also includes 4 RJ-45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X negotiation and VLAN tag transparency up to 1536 bytes, IGMP snooping for multimedia services, independent VDSL2 transmitter/receiver for modem bridge applications, plug-and-play functionality, and compact dimensions.
