The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 1-inch clamp connection, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Optimally measures homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, with subsequent liquid measurements accurate. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the USA. Operating voltage: 12 V to 35 V DC. Uses büS communication protocol.
