The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygienic standards. With a 2-inch clamp and temperature measurement, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 16 bars (224 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, and subsequent liquid measurements will be accurate. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the US.
