The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. This clamp-on sensor features a 2-inch diameter and measures both flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 16 bars (224 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. This device is not designed for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively impact its performance; subsequent liquids measured afterward will be accurately recorded.
