The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 2-inch clamping diameter, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature, suitable for fluids from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 16 bars (224 psi) and is optimized for homogenous liquids without solid particles or air bubbles. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively impact the device. Certified UL, FDA compliant, with food-grade materials and hygiene certification for Europe and the US. Operating voltage: 12V - 35V DC. Uses büS communication protocol (non-configured Ethernet interface).
