The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. With a 3/8-inch clamping diameter, it measures both flow rate and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 130°C (-4°F to 266°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 40°C (14°F to 104°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Optimally measures homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow has no adverse effect on the device or its operation. Other liquids passing through subsequently are measured accurately. Certified ATEX and IECEx, Zone 2/22. FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and certified for hygiene in Europe and the US.
