The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 3/8-inch clamp and measuring both flow rate (volume) and temperature, it handles fluids from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It withstands a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. While not suitable for gas or steam, their flow will not negatively impact the meter's performance, and subsequent measured liquids are accurate.
