The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 3/8-inch clamp and built-in temperature sensor, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluids from -20°C to 130°C (-4°F to 266°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 40°C (14°F to 104°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results for homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not affect the meter negatively; subsequent liquid measurements are accurate. ATEX and IECEx certified, zone 2/22. FDA-compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene-certified for Europe and the US. Uses büS communication protocol.
