The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. This 3-inch clamp meter measures flow (volume) and temperature, suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 10 bars (140 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively impact the meter's performance. Subsequent liquids measured after these are accurate.
