The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. This sensor features 3-inch clamp ports and measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 10 bars (140 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. This device is not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively impact the meter or its operation, and subsequent liquids measured afterwards will be accurately recorded.
