The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. Fitted with an aseptic clamp DN 40, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 16 bars (224 psi). Optimal results achieved with homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids measured accurately.
