The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. Fitted with an aseptic collar orifice DN 40, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately. Complies with FDA regulations, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene. Operating voltage: 12 V to 35 V DC. Uses büS communication protocol.
