The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. This sensor features 1-inch aseptic wedge gate ports and measures both flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F), and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, with subsequent liquid measurements performed accurately. Complies with FDA standards, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene.
