The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. Featuring a DN 65 clamp connection, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 10 bars (140 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation, with subsequent liquids measured accurately. Complies with FDA standards, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene. Operating voltage: 12 V to 35 V DC. Uses büS communication protocol.
