The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With DN 50 clamp ports, it measures flow (volume) and temperature, suitable for fluids from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F). Operating temperature range for ambient conditions: -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 16 bars (224 psi). Ideal for homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately.
