The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. This device features a DN 65 clamp connection and measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 10 bars (140 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. The meter is not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively impact the device or its functionality; subsequent liquid measurements will be accurate.
