The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 1-inch clamping port, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the US. Operating voltage: 12V to 35V DC. Uses Service-büS communication protocol.
