The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. With a 3/4-inch clamping diameter, it measures flow rate and temperature, suitable for fluids between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. This device is not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids measured will be accurate. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-quality materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the US.
