The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. Featuring a 1.5-inch aseptic collared cap sensor, it measures both flow rate and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, with subsequent liquids measured accurately.
