The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. Equipped with DN 65 orifices for DIN 11851 milk tubes, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 10 bars (140 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, and subsequent liquids are measured accurately.
