The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. This sensor features 1-inch clamp ports and measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. This device is not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the instrument or its operation, and subsequent liquids measured afterwards will be accurately measured.
