The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 3/8-inch compression fitting, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, and subsequent liquid measurements will be accurate. FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified.
