The Burkert SAW flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygienic standards. With a 3/8-inch compression fitting, it measures flow (volume) and temperature, suitable for fluids from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquids measured will be accurate.
