The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With an aseptic collar DN 40, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 16 bars (224 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquids measured are accurate.
