The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a DN 50 clamp, it measures flow rate and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 16 bars (224 psi). Optimized results for measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation, with subsequent liquids measured accurately.
