The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. With a 1 1/2 inch clamp connection, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquids measured will be accurate. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the USA. Operating voltage: 12V - 35V DC, using büS communication protocol.
