Burkert Flowave 1 1/2'' Clamp Meter - 8098 - 573091

The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 1 1/2 inch clamping port, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquids measured are accurate. Compliant with FDA standards, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene. The meter has a nominal voltage of 12 V to 35 V DC and uses the büS communication protocol.
