The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. With a 1 1/2 inch clamp, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F), and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 55°C (14°F to 131°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas and steam, however, their flow will not negatively impact the device or its operation, with subsequent liquids measured accurately.
