The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. It features an aseptic clamp connection DN 50 and measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 16 bars (224 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. The device is not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately. Compliant with FDA regulations, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene. The flowmeter has a nominal voltage of 12 V to 35 V DC and uses büS communication protocol.
