The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (model 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. Featuring a DN 25 aseptic wedge valve, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal performance with homogeneous fluids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not adversely affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately.
