The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (model 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygiene standards. With 1-inch compression fittings, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results achieved with homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately. Complies with FDA regulations, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene. Operating voltage: 12V to 35V DC. Uses Service-büS communication protocol.
