The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications requiring the highest hygienic standards. With 1.5-inch clamping ports, it measures flow (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F), and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Ideal for measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately. UL certified, FDA compliant, food-quality materials, and hygiene certified for Europe and the US. Operating voltage: 12 V to 35 V DC. Uses Service-büS communication protocol.
