The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a DN 8 clamp and built-in temperature sensor, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of 25 bars (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free from solid particles and air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not adversely affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids measured are accurate. FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and hygiene certified.
