The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 3/4-inch clamp connection, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures between -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating of 25 bars (351 psi). Ideal for homogeneous liquids without solid particles or air. Not suitable for gases or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the meter or its operation; subsequent liquids are measured accurately. FDA compliant, food-grade materials, and certified hygiene.
