The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flow meter (model 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With a 2.5-inch clamp, it measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 10 bars (140 psi). Ideal for measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not negatively affect the device or its operation; subsequent measured liquids are accurate.
