The Burkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With DN 40 aseptic wedge ports, it measures flow rate and temperature. Suitable for fluid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F). Maximum pressure rating: 25 bars (351 psi). Ideal for homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. Not suitable for gas or steam, but their flow will not affect the meter negatively. Certified food-grade materials and hygiene.
